Hi, I’m Kerry — a Coach, Learning & Development Specialist, and Organisational Development Practitioner.

I support individuals, teams, and organisations to grow in ways that feel meaningful, sustainable, and grounded in real life.

Why I Do This Work

My work has always sat at the intersection of learning, behaviour, and creativity.

For over a decade, I’ve worked across learning design, organisational development, and creative communication — driven by a simple but important question:

What actually helps people grow?

In my current role as an Organisational Development and Learning Advisor with NHS Scotland, I’ve led culture and behaviour change initiatives, designed and delivered learning programmes, and supported individuals and teams to thrive in complex environments.

Before that, I spent nearly 15 years as a college lecturer in business, enterprise, and graphic design — helping people build confidence, find their voice, and turn ideas into something real.

Alongside this, I’ve built and run my own creative businesses — giving me first-hand experience of what it takes to start, grow, and sustain something of your own.

My approach

 I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all development or tick-box training.

Whether I’m coaching an individual or working with an organisation, my approach is always:

  • Human first — people aren’t problems to fix
  • Grounded in self-awareness — because insight drives change
  • Practical and applicable — so learning translates into action
  • Evidence-informed — drawing on coaching, OD, and learning theory

I also use psychometrics (including Insights Discovery) to support deeper understanding — helping people make sense of how they think, feel, and behave at work.

My Story

Like many of the people I now work with, I reached a point where things no longer felt aligned.

On paper, everything looked “right” — but the reality was very much different to this.

That experience changed how I see success.

I know what it’s like to feel stuck, to push through when you’re exhausted, and to wonder if there’s another way. And I also know what it takes to step back, reset, and build something more intentional.

That’s the work I now support others to do — whether that’s in their career, their business, or within the organisations they’re part of.

These experiences too, have shaped not just my skillset but also my values: empathy, clarity, and evidence-based support. I believe sustainable growth begins when people are seen, supported, and empowered to act.

My ACCP accreditation ensures my coaching practice is grounded in ethical standards, reflective practice, and evidence-based coaching models that support meaningful, sustainable change.

TQFE Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education

This qualification strengthens my ability to create structured, inclusive learning experiences and adapt my coaching approach to different learning styles, confidence levels, and neurodivergent needs.

CIPD Accredited

Being CIPD accredited gives me a strong foundation in people development, organisational culture, and workplace wellbeing — particularly valuable for clients navigating burnout, leadership challenges, or career transitions.

Honours Degree in Business and Creative Entrepreneurship

My degree equips me with practical insight into building, growing, and sustaining creative businesses, allowing me to support clients with both strategic thinking and the realities of self-employment.

My work spans 1:1 coaching, group facilitation, learning and development, and organisational development — delivered both online and in person (where appropriate). This might look like a single coaching session, a tailored development programme, or a facilitated workshop designed around your needs.
